Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to oversee financial transactions, maintain accurate financial records, and ensure compliance with accounting standards. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, excellent knowledge of accounting principles, and the ability to manage financial reporting, budgeting, and taxation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain financial statements, general ledger, and reconciliations.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.
- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing.
- Monitor and analyse financial data to provide insights for decision-making.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
- Coordinate with auditors and tax consultants for audits and filings.
- Implement and improve internal controls to enhance financial efficiency.
- Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff.
- Manage GST, TDS, and other statutory filings.
