Job Description
- Supervise chefs, cooks, helpers, and other kitchen staff
- Ensure all Indian dishes are prepared according to restaurant recipes and quality standards
- Monitor kitchen hygiene and cleanliness as per FSSAI guidelines
- Ensure timely preparation and dispatch of online orders received through Swiggy and Zomato
- Coordinate with service staff to ensure table dine-in orders are prepared and served within standard preparation time
- Manage order flow during peak restaurant hours to avoid delays
- Monitor food portioning, presentation, and taste consistency
- Check daily stock levels of vegetables, groceries, spices, meat, and kitchen supplies
- Minimize food wastage and assist in inventory control
- Train kitchen staff on food preparation, hygiene, discipline, and safety procedures
- Ensure proper storage and handling of raw materials and cooked food
- Report kitchen equipment maintenance and repair requirements
- Support the Head Chef in kitchen scheduling and operational planning
