Accountant

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage financial records and ensure compliance with GST regulations for our travel company. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of accounting principles and hands-on experience with GST filing.

• Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain accurate financial records, including sales, purchases, receipts, and payments
• Handle day-to-day accounting operations
• Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, etc.) on time
• Reconcile bank statements and manage accounts payable/receivable
• Generate financial reports such as profit & loss statements and balance sheets
• Ensure compliance with tax laws and financial regulations
• Coordinate with auditors and assist during audits
• Monitor expenses and suggest cost-saving measures
• RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Proven experience as an Accountant (preferably in travel or service industry)
• Strong knowledge of GST filing and compliance
• Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Tally, Busy, or similar)
• Good understanding of financial regulations and taxation
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
• Good communication and organizational skills
• Preferred QualificationsExperience in travel or tourism industry accounting
• Knowledge of invoicing, vendor management, and payroll processing
