Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented AutoCAD Draftsman to prepare technical drawings and layouts for electrical, civil, mechanical, or industrial projects. The candidate should have good knowledge of AutoCAD drafting standards, preparation of GA drawings, shop drawings, and coordination with site and design teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed 2D drawings using AutoCAD as per project requirements.
• Develop GA drawings, layout drawings, fabrication drawings, and as-built drawings.
• Prepare cable routing, conduit layouts, panel layouts, trench layouts, and schematic drawings as applicable.
• Revise drawings based on engineer/client comments.
• Maintain proper drawing records and revision history.
• Coordinate with site engineers, project teams, and vendors for drawing updates.
• Ensure drawings comply with project specifications and standards.
• Support preparation of BOQ, material take-off, and documentation.
• Print and issue drawings to site teams as required.
• Maintain backup and proper filing of all drawings and project documents.

Required Skills

• Good knowledge of AutoCAD 2D drafting.
• Understanding of engineering drawings and standards.
• Knowledge of electrical/civil/mechanical drafting practices.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
