Position Overview - The Business Development Manager will be responsible for generating business opportunities, building strategic relationships, converting qualified leads into projects, and expanding MyBathspace's presence across residential, commercial and institutional segments.
The ideal candidate should possess strong sales, networking and negotiation skills, with the ability to identify opportunities, build trust with clients, and consistently achieve revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Development Generate new business opportunities through various channels.
- Develop relationships with architects, interior designers, builders, contractors, RWAs, facility managers and corporate clients.
- Identify residential, commercial and institutional renovation opportunities.
- Build a healthy sales pipeline through networking and referrals.
- Represent MyBathspace at exhibitions, networking events and industry forums.
2. Lead Management
- Follow up on assigned leads promptly.
- Qualify leads based on project scope, budget and timeline.
- Coordinate site visits with Design Consultants.
- Maintain accurate records in the CRM.
- Ensure timely movement of leads through the sales funnel.
3. Client Relationship ManagementUnderstand client requirements and business objectives.
- Present MyBathspace's services and value proposition professionally.
- Build long-term relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals.
- Resolve client concerns during the pre-sales stage.
4. Sales & RevenueAchieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Prepare proposals and commercial offers.
- Negotiate commercial terms while protecting company margins.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure a smooth handover after project confirmation.
- Track conversion ratios and continuously improve performance.
5. Market DevelopmentIdentify new business segments and growth opportunities.
- Conduct competitor analysis and market research.
- Gather customer feedback and share actionable insights with management.
- Recommend new partnership opportunities and marketing initiatives.
6. Internal CoordinationWork closely with Design Consultants, Project Managers, Procurement and Marketing teams.
- Ensure all client commitments are communicated internally.
- Support successful project onboarding after booking.

Required Skills

Preferred Qualifications
- Graduate in Business, Marketing or a related field.
- MBA preferred but not mandatory.
- 2–6 years of experience in Business Development, Sales or Client Acquisition.
- Experience in Interior Design, Home Improvement, Construction, Building Materials, Sanitaryware, Real Estate or Architecture industries will be preferred.
