Copy Writer

• Salary: ₹19,000 – ₹30,000 per month
• Must have experience in copy editing/proofreading, preferably in publishing

Key Responsibilities:

• Edit manuscripts for grammar, punctuation, spelling, and sentence structure• Ensure consistency in language, tone, style, and formatting across books and series• Review content for clarity, readability, and age-appropriate language for children• Fact-check information and ensure accuracy in educational or informational content• Work closely with editors, writers, designers, and illustrators• Proofread layouts and final pages before printing• Follow the company’s editorial style guidelines and maintain quality standards• Review translations or adapted content when required• Ensure corrections and revisions are implemented accurately before final production

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Undergraduate candidates can also apply; Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English, Journalism, Literature, Mass Communication, or a related field will be preferred• Excellent command of English grammar, punctuation, and style• Strong attention to detail and ability to spot inconsistencies• Familiarity with editing guidelines and style manuals• Understanding of age-appropriate language for children• Ability to manage multiple manuscripts and meet deadlinesPreferred Candidate Profile:

• Strong proofreading and content polishing skills• Ability to work independently and within a team
