Job Description
We need a computer hardware and network engineer who can set up, fix, and look after physical computer parts and internal office networks. Key duties include troubleshooting device issues, configuring LAN/WAN connections, and managing system security.
Job Summary
- Role: Maintain reliable physical IT infrastructure, user devices, and office data networks.
- Workplace: Office buildings, server rooms.
Key Responsibilities
- Hardware Support: Install, repair, and upgrade desktops, laptops, printers, and spare parts.
- Network Administration: Set up and manage local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), Wi-Fi routers, and switches.
- System Security: Configure firewalls, manage antivirus updates, and perform routine data backups.
- User Assistance: Resolve daily technical issues for employees and maintain system uptime.
- Inventory Control: Keep records of all hardware items, spare parts, and network configurations.
