We are looking for an experienced and dedicated IT Engineer to join our technical team.

Job Summary

The IT Engineer will be responsible for the installation, configuration, troubleshooting, maintenance, and support of IT infrastructure, including desktops, laptops, servers, networking devices, printers, CCTV systems, and related hardware and software. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical knowledge and excellent problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, workstations, printers, and peripherals.
• Install and configure Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office, antivirus software, and other business applications.
• Configure and maintain Windows Server environments and Active Directory.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot networking devices including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
• Manage LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, and network security.
• Install and configure CCTV surveillance systems and IP cameras.
• Install and support rack servers, storage devices, and backup solutions.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues efficiently.
• Perform preventive maintenance and regular health checks of IT infrastructure.
• Provide onsite and remote technical support to clients.
• Coordinate with OEMs such as Lenovo, Dell, HP, Cisco, Microsoft, and others for warranty claims and technical support.
• Prepare installation reports, service reports, and documentation.
• Handle data backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures.
• Ensure compliance with company IT policies and security standards.
• Travel to client locations for installation, implementation, and support whenever required.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of computer hardware and troubleshooting.
• Experience with Windows 10/11 and Windows Server administration.
• Good understanding of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
• Hands-on experience with networking devices and structured cabling.
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Outlook configuration.
• Experience in server installation and virtualization (Hyper-V/VMware is preferred).
• Understanding of firewall configuration and network security.
• Experience with CCTV installation and IP camera configuration.
• Ability to troubleshoot printers, scanners, biometric devices, and other peripherals.
• Excellent communication and customer-handling skills.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure.

Qualifications

• Diploma/B.Tech/B.E./BCA/MCA or equivalent qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related field.
• Relevant technical certifications such as CCNA, MCSA, MCSE, CompTIA A+, Network+, or equivalent will be an added advantage.

Preferred Experience

• 2–5 years of experience in IT infrastructure support, networking, system administration, or field engineering.
• Experience in handling enterprise clients, corporate environments, or government projects.
• Experience with installation and maintenance of servers, networking equipment, CCTV systems, and IT infrastructure.
