Job Description
- Italian Chef1. Food Preparation & QualityPrepare authentic Italian dishes as per company recipes and standards.
- Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portion size.
- Maintain high food quality during all service hours.
- Innovate and suggest new Italian menu items periodically.
- 2. Kitchen OperationsEnsure smooth day-to-day kitchen operations.
- Monitor preparation timelines and maintain service efficiency.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff for timely food dispatch.
- 3. Hygiene & SafetyMaintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen area.
- Follow FSSAI and food safety standards strictly.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of food products.
- Maintain personal hygiene and grooming standards.
- 4. Inventory & Cost ControlMonitor daily stock usage and minimize wastage.
- Ensure proper storage of ingredients and perishables.
- Assist in inventory management and kitchen cost control.
- Inform management regarding stock shortages and requirements.
- 5. Team CoordinationTrain and guide junior kitchen staff and helpers.
- Maintain discipline and teamwork in the kitchen.
- Coordinate with service staff for smooth guest experience.
- 6. Customer SatisfactionEnsure guest satisfaction through quality food and presentation.
- Handle guest feedback related to food professionally.
- Maintain consistency in guest dining experience.
- 7. Equipment MaintenanceEnsure proper usage of kitchen equipment and tools.
- Report any maintenance or repair requirements immediately.
- Maintain kitchen equipment in good working condition.
- 8. Reporting & ComplianceSubmit daily production and wastage reports if required.
- Follow company SOPs and operational guidelines.
- Support management during audits and inspections.
