CAD Draftsman / Detailing Engineer — Full-Time, Delhi (Lajpat Nagar)

We're a Delhi-based arcade machine and kiosk manufacturer. We design and build custom enclosures, cabinets, and housings that combine sheet metal fabrication with woodwork — and we need a full-time CAD person who can produce drawings that our vendors can actually build from.

What the job looks like:

You'll work out of our office in Lajpat Nagar (110024). You'll study physical hardware components — screens, PCBs, printers, coin mechs — and design enclosures around them. Some jobs are full sheet metal, some are wood with metal reinforcements, some are a mix. You'll coordinate directly with our carpenter and sheet metal vendors, ensure drawings are understood on the shop floor, and handle revisions as builds progress.

Deliverables:

• 3D models (SolidWorks)

• 2D manufacturing drawings with proper dimensioning, material callouts, and finish notes

• Flat patterns with bend tables for sheet metal parts

• Cut lists and edge banding specs for wooden components

• DXF files for laser cutting

• BOMs with material type, thickness, and quantity

You should know:

• Sheet metal — bend radii, K-factor, bend sequence, gauge selection, tolerances for CNC/laser

• Woodwork — plywood/MDF/HDHMR construction, joinery for carcass work, hardware mounting

• How to design around existing hardware (fitting a 21.5" monitor + a thermal printer + a UPS into a compact kiosk isn't textbook work)

• Standard Indian material sizes and what's actually available in the market

What we're looking for:

• 1+ years of experience producing manufacturing drawings

• Someone who has dealt with fabricators and carpenters directly

• You should be able to visit vendor workshops when needed to sort out build issues on the spot
