Job SummaryHari Om Retail Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an experienced Product Head with a strong background in the Consumer Electronics and Home Appliances industry. The candidate will be responsible for driving product strategy, category growth, vendor partnerships, pricing, inventory planning, and profitability across multiple product categories.

• Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute product and category strategies for consumer electronics and home appliances.
• Identify market trends, customer demands, and competitive opportunities.
• Manage relationships with brands, manufacturers, and suppliers.
• Negotiate commercial terms, pricing, schemes, and promotional activities.
• Drive product launches, assortment planning, and category expansion.
• Monitor sales performance, margins, inventory levels, and profitability.
• Coordinate with Sales, Marketing, Operations, Warehouse, and Finance teams to ensure smooth product lifecycle management.
• Analyze market data and prepare business reports to support decision-making.
• Ensure availability of the right products at the right price across all retail locations.
• Lead and mentor the product and category management team.
• Required SkillsStrong understanding of Consumer Electronics and Home Appliances market.
• Excellent vendor management and negotiation skills.
• Strong analytical and commercial acumen.
• Expertise in category management, product planning, and inventory control.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and business reporting tools.
• Strong leadership, communication, and team management abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
• QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or a related field.
• MBA preferred.
• Experience8–15 years of experience in Product Management, Category Management, Buying, or Merchandising.
• Mandatory experience in the Consumer Electronics and Home Appliances industry.
• Experience working with major electronics and appliance brands will be an added advantage.

Preferred BackgroundCandidates from electronics retail chains, consumer electronics distributors, appliance brands, or large-format retail organizations will be preferred.
