Job Description
- Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Sales & Business Development
- Generate new business opportunities through field visits, references, cold calling, online portals, architects, contractors, and institutional clients
- Handle complete sales process from inquiry generation to final project closure
- Prepare and explain quotations, technical specifications, and project proposals to clients
- Develop strong relationships with schools, sports academies, builders, contractors, architects, and government departments
- Conduct client meetings, presentations, and site visits professionally
- Negotiate pricing and close deals effectively
- Ensure timely follow-ups and payment coordination with clients
- Team Management & Leadership
- Lead and manage the sales team to achieve monthly and quarterly business targets
- Assign leads and daily tasks to team members and monitor their performance
- Conduct regular sales meetings, training sessions, and performance reviews
- Motivate the team to improve productivity and conversion ratios
- Maintain discipline, reporting structure, and professional work culture within the team
- Support junior sales executives in client handling and deal closing
- Coordinate with telecalling, marketing, and operations teams for smooth workflow
- Target & Performance Management
- Achieve individual as well as team sales targets
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports
- Track sales pipeline, lead status, conversions, and project execution updates
- Monitor pending follow-ups, quotations, and payment collections
- Develop strategies to increase revenue and improve business growth
- Ensure maximum lead conversion through proper planning and follow-up management
- Coordination & Operations
- Coordinate with project execution and procurement teams regarding material dispatch and project timelines
- Ensure smooth communication between client and internal departments
- Maintain CRM records, client databases, and sales documentation properly
- Assist management in business planning and market expansion strategies
- Required Skills
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
- Target-oriented and result-driven mindset
- Good knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and CRM software
- Ability to handle pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Professional personality with positive attitude and confidence
- Preferred Experience
- 2-6 years experience in sales and team handling
- Experience in sports infrastructure, construction, building materials, flooring, or related industry or experience in sales filed is preferred
- Prior experience in institutional or project sales will be an added advantage
- Qualification
- Graduate / MBA / BBA preferred
- Sales & Marketing background preferred
