Senior Accountant

Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to oversee our financial compliance, tax filing, and reporting. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in direct and indirect taxation, with a proven track record of handling GST, TDS, and ITR independently. Prior experience working within a Chartered Accountant (CA) firm is highly preferable for this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Tax Compliance: End-to-end handling of GST filing, reconciliation, and returns.
• TDS Management: Accurate calculation, deduction, and timely filing of TDS returns.
• Income Tax: Preparing and filing Income Tax Returns (ITR) for individuals and corporate entities.
• Financial Reporting: Maintaining accurate ledgers, preparing balance sheets, and ensuring books are audit-ready.
• Liaison: Coordinating with internal teams and external auditors/CA firms for smooth financial operations.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Experience: Minimum 3 years of core experience in GST, TDS, and ITR filing.
• CA Firm Background: Minimum 1 year of mandatory experience working with a CA firm.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com), M.Com, or Inter-CA, CA, CPA & ACCA
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Tally Prime, MS Excel (Advanced), and government tax portals.
• Soft Skills: Strong analytical skills, high attention to detail, and ability to meet strict statutory deadlines.
