Job Title: Accountant

Job Summary:An Accountant is responsible for managing financial records, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and supporting the organization’s financial health by preparing statements, analyzing data, and ensuring compliance with laws and regulations.

• Key Responsibilities:Prepare and maintain financial records, reports, and statements
• Record daily financial transactions (sales, purchases, receipts, payments)
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Manage accounts payable and receivable
• Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of financial data
• Calculate taxes and prepare tax returns
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting
• Analyze financial data to support decision-making
• Conduct audits and resolve discrepancies
• Required Skills:Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Tally)
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Good communication and organizational skills
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Educational Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is an advantage
