Senior Accountant

Responsibilities: • Prepare and maintain and manage statutory books of accounts (journal, ledger, cash book, subsidiaries) in compliance with time and accuracy norms. • Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable, processing financial transactions and reconciling customer payments. • Research and allocate unallocated cash and respond to inquiries from external vendors and internal managers regarding accounts payable processes. • Verify vendor invoices and ensure correct general ledger account codes are used. • Generate routine payment to vendors and maintain accurate files and records. • Develop and maintain a filing system for financial information and documents. • Monitor account balances, track expenses, and prepare monthly financial reports. • Prepare daily bank deposits and reconcile bank transactions. • Work under the supervision of a Senior Accounts Manager. • Handle petty cash and related entries. • Timely computation and filing of Income Tax, GST, and TDS returns. • Manage GST filings, returns, and assessments. • Calculate GST input/output and file necessary returns. Minimum requirements Education: Graduate / Postgraduate Residence : <15 Kms Radius of Chhatarpur. Must have own vehicle. Joining Time : 15 days Technical Skills and Prior Experience • Min. 5 years’ experience. • Must be PC proficient and adaptability to a fast-paced, rapidly growing environment. • Knowledge of Tally a must. • Must have strong experience with Microsoft Excel. • Ten key by touch required. • Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines required.
