As an Area Business Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the digital business loans sales operations within a specific geographic area. Your role involves managing a team of sales professionals, developing and implementing effective sales strategies, and ensuring the successful execution of business plans. You will collaborate closely with various departments to align sales efforts with the overall business objectives of Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd.- Manage and mentor a team of sales professionals, providing guidance and support to drive sales performance.
- Develop and execute sales plans and strategies to achieve business loan sales targets within the assigned area.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners to foster business growth.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities and develop effective sales approaches.
- Ensure compliance with bank policies and procedures, maintaining high ethical standards in sales practices.
- Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to create and promote innovative business loan products.
- Monitor and evaluate sales team performance, providing regular feedback and coaching to enhance productivity.
- Stay updated with industry developments and regulatory changes to adapt sales strategies accordingly.
- Prepare and present sales reports, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Conduct regular training sessions to enhance the sales team's knowledge and skills, ensuring a high level of professionalism.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a sales management role, preferably in the banking or financial services industry.
- Proven track record of successfully managing and leading sales teams, with a strong understanding of sales strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to sales planning and execution.
- Proficiency in using sales management tools and CRM systems to track and analyze sales performance.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned area to support sales activities and client engagements.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and inspire a team towards achieving sales goals.
