Job Title: Barista

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve beverages such as coffee, espresso drinks, teas, and smoothies
• Operate coffee machines (e.g., espresso machines, grinders) efficiently
• Take customer orders accurately and handle payments (cash/card systems)
• Maintain cleanliness of the work area, equipment, and seating areas
• Follow health and safety regulations
• Restock supplies (cups, milk, coffee beans, syrups, etc.)
• Provide friendly, fast, and attentive customer service
• Recommend menu items and answer customer questions
• Handle customer complaints professionally

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Basic knowledge of coffee brewing techniques
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail and cleanliness
• Basic math skills for handling transactions
• Teamwork and reliability
• Flexibility with shifts (including weekends and holidays)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a café, restaurant, or customer service role
• Familiarity with specialty coffee and latte art
• Food handling or safety certification

Working Conditions:

• Standing for long periods

• Early morning, evening, weekend, or holiday shifts
