BMS Supervisor

Job Summary:

The BMS Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the operation, maintenance, and

performance of the Building Management System (BMS). The role requires strong hands-on

experience, with the ability to independently handle site activities, troubleshoot issues, and

support the team when required. The supervisor will ensure smooth functioning of all

integrated systems.

Key Responsibilities:

-> Supervise day-to-day operations of the BMS system at site

-> Perform hands-on troubleshooting of BMS controllers, sensors, and field devices

-> Monitor and control systems including HVAC, electrical, fire alarm, DG, UPS, etc.

-> Lead installation, testing, and commissioning activities when required

-> Attend and resolve breakdowns to minimize downtime

-> Coordinate with technicians and guide them for issue resolution

-> Ensure proper integration and communication between all subsystems (BACnet, Modbus,

etc.)

-> Maintain daily logs, reports, and system performance records

-> Escalate critical issues to BMS Manager and provide detailed analysis

-> Coordinate with OEMs/vendors for support, AMC, and upgrades

-> Ensure adherence to safety standards and site protocols

Technical Skills Required:

-> Hands-on experience with BMS platforms (Honeywell / Siemens / Schneider /

Johnson Controls)

-> Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and electrical systems

-> Good understanding of communication protocols (BACnet, Modbus, TCP/IP)

-> Ability to read electrical drawings, control schematics, and layouts

-> Experience in fault diagnosis and system optimization

Educational Qualification:

-> Diploma / B.Tech in Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation

-> Ability to work under pressure and handle emergencies

-> Willingness to work in shifts and be available for on-site support
