BMS Technician

Job Summary:

The BMS (Building Management System) Technician is responsible for installation,

operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of BMS systems including HVAC, electrical

and other integrated systems. The role ensures smooth functioning of building automation

systems and quick resolution of faults.

Key Responsibilities:

-> Install, configure, commission and Troubleshoot BMS systems at site

-> Monitor and operate BMS systems including HVAC, lighting, and utilities

-> Perform routine maintenance and preventive checks of BMS equipment

-> Troubleshoot faults in controllers, sensors, actuators, and communication networks

-> Ensure proper integration of systems.

-> Maintain logs, reports, and documentation of system performance

-> Attend breakdown calls and ensure minimum downtime

-> Ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols.

Technical Skills Required:

-> Knowledge of BMS platforms (Honeywell / Siemens / Schneider / Johnson Controls)

-> Understanding of HVAC systems and electrical systems

-> Basic knowledge of networking (IP, Modbus, BACnet, etc.)

-> Ability to read and understand electrical drawings and schematics

-> Hands-on experience with controllers, sensors, and field devices

Educational Qualification:

-> Diploma / ITI in Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation
