Business Development Executive (BDE)

Role Responsibilities

• Build and nurture strong relationships with shipowners, charterers, and operators.
• Lead negotiations and finalize ship chartering or sale & purchase agreements, ensuring favourable terms for all stakeholders.
• Track global shipping trends, and vessel movements.
• Compile and deliver insightful market reports, vessel availability, and cargo opportunities.
• Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure seamless contract execution.
• Maintain detailed records of fixtures, negotiations, and client interactions.
• Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and networking platforms to enhance market visibility.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
• Strong commercial insight with the agility to perform in a dynamic, deal-oriented environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Fluent in English; knowledge of additional languages is advantageous.
