About the Role Sd Infosystem is looking for a skilled and motivated CCTV Technician to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of CCTV surveillance systems at client locations.
- Key ResponsibilitiesInstall, configure, and commission CCTV cameras, DVRs, NVRs, and related security equipment.
- Perform cable laying, termination, and network connectivity setup.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot CCTV system faults and connectivity issues.
- Conduct preventive maintenance and periodic inspections of surveillance systems.
- Configure remote viewing and mobile monitoring applications.
- Provide technical support and training to customers when required.
- Prepare service reports and maintain installation documentation.
- Ensure all work is completed according to company standards and safety guidelines.
- RequirementsITI, Diploma, or equivalent qualification in Electronics, Electrical, Computer Hardware, or related field.
- Experience in CCTV installation and maintenance preferred.
- Knowledge of IP cameras, DVR/NVR systems, networking, and basic computer hardware.
- Ability to use testing and installation tools.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and customer-handling abilities.
- Willingness to travel for field service assignments.
- Preferred SkillsKnowledge of access control, biometric systems, and networking equipment.
- Experience with Hikvision, Dahua, CP Plus, or similar CCTV brands.
- Understanding of TCP/IP networking and remote access configuration.
