Your key responsibilities

Technical Excellence

  • This role involves providing comprehensive legal support for agreements across multiple jurisdictions. The ideal candidate will have 5–8 years of experience with strong contract drafting and negotiation capabilities.
  • Contract Drafting, Review & Negotiation: Draft, review, negotiate, and finalize a wide range of commercial, technology, outsourcing, and financial-services agreements, including MSAs, SOWs, addendums, amendments, and bespoke contracts, using both standard and customized templates.
  • End-to-End Contract Lifecycle Management: Manage the full contract lifecycle, from intake and drafting through negotiation, approvals, execution, storage, renewals, and termination ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and alignment with business objectives.
  • Regulatory & Cross-Jurisdictional Compliance: Ensure contractual terms comply with applicable local and cross-border regulatory requirements, including banking and financial-services outsourcing regulations, data privacy and protection laws, consumer protection and fair-trading requirements, and foreign exchange or cross-border trade controls.
  • Commercial, Operational & Risk Alignment: Partner closely with business, procurement, risk, compliance, and operations teams to ensure contracts appropriately reflect commercial intent, operational feasibility, regulatory obligations, and internal risk appetite.
  • Internal Policy & Governance Adherence: Apply organizational contracting policies, risk frameworks, compliance standards, and data-protection requirements during contract drafting and negotiation, escalating and mitigating risks where required.
  • Negotiation Strategy & Contract Optimization: Develop and execute effective negotiation strategies, including fallback positions and risk-based deviations, and continuously improve contract templates and playbooks based on market practice, regulatory developments, and business needs.
  • Contract Workflow & Legal Technology Enablement: Demonstrate strong understanding of contract workflows and hands-on experience with contract lifecycle management (CLM) tools and legal technology platforms to enhance efficiency, visibility, control, and audit readiness.
  • Stakeholder & Vendor Management: Engage with internal stakeholders and external counterparties to resolve contractual issues, support deal execution, and drive timely closure of agreements.
