Indirect Tax Senior – SAP DRC Functional Consultant

 

Indirect Tax has 9 sub-functions which manage Global accounts. Indirect Tax is spread across 8 GDS Locations. Our footprint extends to over 30+ countries in the world and looking at expanding it to over 50+ countries soon. We help country practices streamline and manage large engagements for several clients. Job Summary:

 

The Functional Consultant will configure and support SAP DRC functionalities including e-Invoicing, VAT reporting, statutory compliance reports, and integration with SAP core modules.

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

• Configure SAP DRC for country-specific e-Invoicing and reporting.
• Work on document types, mapping, VAT returns, and statutory reporting templates.
• Support FI/SD/MM flows for compliance scenarios.
• Analyze and generate compliance outputs such as XML, JSON, PDFs, and government-approved formats.
• Use Fiori apps: Run Statutory Reports, Manage Reporting Activities, Monitor E-Documents.
• Support E2E testing, defect resolution, and UAT.
• Coordinate with technical teams for enhancements and API troubleshooting.
• Communicate with business users for requirement gathering and validation.

 

 

Required Skills :

 

• SAP DRC configuration experience.
• Good understanding of Indirect Tax (VAT, GST, e-Invoicing, SAF-T).
• Experience in SAP FI/SD integration.
• Knowledge of statutory reporting formats.

 

Desirable :

 

• Basic ABAP debugging.
• Exposure to Integration Suite (CPI), BTP, AIF.

• Monitor the performance and create opportunities for growth and guide the counselees on enhancing the technical and non-technical skills.
• Identify the training needs and organize the trainings

 

 

Ideally, you’ll also have

 

• High level knowledge and experience of a local country Indirect Tax Compliance.
• Knowledge of Global Indirect Tax Compliance and the associated processes.
