Role Overview:

We are hiring a Lead - Business Operations and Strategy to drive strategic planning, execution, and high-impact initiatives for Adobe’s India Education team. You will work closely with leadership to help shape the division’s direction, ensure alignment across teams, and execute initiatives that improve operational effectiveness, scalability, and overall business performance. A key part of this role is the ability to translate complex business performance into clear, executive-level narratives, enabling leadership to make informed, timely decisions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Planning & Execution

  • Partner with leadership to define business priorities and strategic roadmaps.
  • Translate strategy into execution plans with clear milestones, owners, and success metrics.
  • Drive annual and quarterly planning cycles.
  • Track progress and ensure delivery against key business goals.

2. Chief of Staff Support to Leadership

  • Support decision-making through structured problem-solving and insights.
  • Ensure follow-through on key initiatives by driving alignment, accountability, and execution.

3. C-Suite Reporting & Executive Communication

  • Own preparation of executive-level reporting and business reviews for senior leadership and C-suite stakeholders.
  • Translate business performance into clear, concise, and insight-driven narratives.
  • Build high-quality presentations, dashboards, and review materials that drive decision-making.
  • Anticipate leadership questions and provide forward-looking insights, not just retrospective updates.

4. Strategic Initiatives

  • Independently lead high-priority, cross-functional initiatives.
  • Drive initiatives from problem definition → solution design → execution → impact tracking.
  • Work across Sales, Marketing, Product, Finance, and Partnerships teams.

5. Business Operations & Performance Management

  • Establish and manage operating rhythms:
    • Business reviews
    • Performance tracking
    • Planning cadences
  • Drive organizational efficiency and execution discipline.
  • Ensure visibility and alignment across stakeholders.

6. Data, Analytics & Decision Support

  • Build and own data frameworks and dashboards for tracking:
    • Business performance
    • Key KPIs
    • Strategic initiatives
  • Move beyond reporting to:
    • Identify trends, risks, and opportunities
    • Generate actionable insights
  • Partner with data teams (if applicable) or independently drive analytics for decision-making.
  • Enable a data-driven culture within the team.

7. Financial Planning & Business Insights

  • Partner with Finance on:
    • Forecasting and planning
    • Budget tracking
  • Evaluate performance of key initiatives and provide ROI-driven recommendations.

8. Stakeholder Management & Influence

  • Manage complex stakeholder environments across functions.
  • Influence decisions through:
    • Structured communication
    • Data-backed insights
    • Strong executive presence
  • Drive alignment across teams without formal authority.

Who You Are

  • 10+ years of experience in:
    • Management consulting (preferred)
    • Business operations/strategy
    • Chief of Staff/planning roles
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to build frameworks, interpret complex data and turn insights into actionable strategies.
  • Experience with setting up dashboards to track KPIs and business metrics.
  • Strong experience in C-suite reporting.
  • Proven ability to independently drive initiatives end-to-end.
  • Proficiency in financial modelling, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Experience with project management and leading cross-functional teams to drive

results.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and data visualization tools (e.g.,

Tableau, Power BI).

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to

influence and collaborate with senior leaders and cross-functional teams.

  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize and manage multiple projects.
