Onboarding Officer - Video KYC-Digital Banking Kotak 811-CEC-VKYC

The Onboarding Officer will be responsible for guiding customers through our digital banking onboarding process, with a focus on Video Know Your Customer (VKYC) verification. This role is crucial in maintaining the bank's high standards of security and customer satisfaction. The officer will work closely with the Digital Banking team to enhance the overall customer experience.
  • Conduct thorough Video KYC verifications, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Provide excellent customer service during the onboarding process, addressing any queries or concerns.
  • Review and analyze customer documentation, identifying any potential risks or discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer onboarding data, ensuring data privacy and security.
  • Collaborate with the Digital Banking team to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in digital banking and KYC procedures.
  • Train and support new team members on Video KYC protocols and best practices.
  • Handle customer escalations and complaints, providing timely and effective resolutions.
  • Ensure a seamless and efficient onboarding journey for customers, minimizing wait times.
  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as finance, business, or technology.
  • Prior experience in customer service or a related role, preferably in a banking or financial institution.
  • Strong knowledge of digital banking processes and regulations, including KYC and AML guidelines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers.
  • Proficiency in using digital tools and platforms for customer onboarding and verification.
  • Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities to identify and resolve customer issues.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of customer service.
  • Willingness to stay updated with industry trends and best practices in digital banking.
  • Fluency in English and any other regional languages is an advantage.
