Patent Illustration Analyst

We are looking for a Patent Illustration Analyst to join our IP Search Team in Noida. This is a great opportunity to work with Fortune 100 clients to support them on various phases in IP Life cycle management.

About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments ​

• B.E./B.Tech – Mechanical/Automobile or other relevant engineering discipline
• 1 – 3 years prior experience in patent draft preparation.
• Preparing patent illustrations using software tools including AUTOCAD and Visio in accordance with the rules and regulations set forth by USPTO, EPO, PCT/WIPO, or other Patent Offices. Having knowledge of Photoshop and other drawing tools would be an added benefit.
• Preparing various views like perspective views and side views of an article to illustrate various design attributes of the article for filing a design patent in accordance with the rules and regulations set forth by the Patent Offices.
• Working in collaboration with drafting teams and developing sectional views, exploded views, and various views as desired by the drafters based on a given set of specifications.
• Working on block diagrams, flow charts and diagrammatic views based on written instructions from clients and drafting teams.
• Delivering the drawings efficiently, timely and with the desired quality.
• Willingness to work extended time hours to fulfill client requirements, as and when required.

What will you be doing in this role?

• Strong technical knowledge of AUTOCAD and Visio to illustrate any type of drawings as demanded from clients and drafting teams
• Strong visualization and artistic skills to develop various views of the drawings based on instructions from clients and drafting teams
• Knowledge of Utility Patent and Design Patent drawings rules and requirements 
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Possess ability to work on multiple teams and multiple projects under strict timelines.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Self-starter, meticulous with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, and other MS office applications.
• Good interpersonal and client management skills.

LOCATION:

• Noida, India

Hours of Work 

• This is a full-time role requiring 40 working hours per week based out of Noida, India (IST).
• Work Mode-Hybrid
