Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the deployment and configuration of Imperva’s Application Security solutions (e.g., WAF, Advanced Bot Protection, API Security, DDoS Protection) in customer environments (on-premises, cloud, and hybrid).
• Conduct technical workshops and assessments to understand customer requirements, environments, and objectives.
• Customize and optimize policies, rules, and configurations based on risk posture, compliance needs, and traffic patterns.
• Act as a trusted advisor for security architecture and provide ongoing technical guidance during implementation and post-deployment phases.
• Deliver high-quality documentation, including implementation plans, tuning guides, runbooks, and project status reports.
• Collaborate with internal teams (Product Management, Support, R&D) to communicate field feedback and assist with escalations.
• Educate customers on best practices and ensure a smooth handover for long-term solution ownership.
• Travel up to 25% may be required, depending on customer engagement needs.

Qualifications

Required:

• 5-10 years of experience in Professional Services, Security Engineering, or related technical consulting roles.
• Hands-on experience with Web Application Firewalls, especially Imperva’s App Security stack (Cloud WAF, On-prem WAF/Gateway, ThreatRadar, etc.).
• Strong understanding of OWASP Top 10, HTTP protocol, web technologies (HTML, JavaScript, REST APIs), and application architecture.
• Familiarity with networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, load balancing, SSL/TLS, CDN).
• Experience working with cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and project management skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple customer engagements simultaneously.
