Job Description
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Safety Engineer to ensure a safe working environment across our project sites. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing safety standards, monitoring site activities, and ensuring compliance with statutory and company safety regulations during execution.
Key Responsibilities
1. Implement and enforce site safety policies, procedures, and standards
2. Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments at project sites
3. Identify potential hazards and recommend corrective and preventive actions
4. Ensure proper use of PPE and safe work practices by all site personnel
5. Conduct safety inductions, toolbox talks, and training programs for workers and staff
6. Monitor compliance with statutory safety norms and company guidelines
7. Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses; prepare reports and corrective action plans
8. Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and contractors to maintain safety standards
9. Maintain safety documentation, records, and reports as required
10. Ensure emergency preparedness and response plans are in place and followed
Requirements & Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Engineering or Safety Management
* 2–5 years of experience in site safety, preferably in interior fit-out or construction projects
* Knowledge of safety regulations, standards, and best practices
* Strong communication and coordination skills
* Ability to work independently and handle multiple site responsibilities
* Certification in Safety (NEBOSH / IOSH / equivalent) will be an added advantage
