HIRING ALERT !!!!
Sales Executive for premium electrical components (Rittal enclosures/climate control, Hensel junction boxes, Lapp cables, and MCBs/panel wires) is responsible for driving revenue by selling industrial solutions to OEMs, panel builders, consultants, and contractors. This role combines technical knowledge with relationship management to sell high-quality, reliable, and often high-cost components.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Sales Target Achievement & Territory Management:
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for Rittal, Hensel, Lapp, Hager, Lauritz and knudsen)and other products.
- Develop a strategic sales plan to expand the customer base (OEMs, panel builders, consultants) in the assigned territory.
- Identify, hunt, and convert new clients while maintaining relationships with existing ones.
Technical Sales & Product Promotion:
- Demonstrate technical expertise in Rittal enclosures/cooling, Lapp cables, and MCB functionalities to educate clients, Salzer/ Hager /Lauritz and knudsen.
- Act as a consultant to clients, offering solutions (e.g., proper cable selection, enclosure cooling, circuit protection) based on technical needs.
- Perform product demonstrations and presentations to engineers, procurement teams, and decision-makers.
Business Development & Account Management:
- Generate leads through cold calling, networking, and attending industry exhibitions.
- Get products approved in technical specifications for large projects (DISCOMs, PSUs).
- Build strong, long-term relationships with MEP consultants and turnkey contractors.
Quotations, Negotiation & Order Closure:
- Prepare and submit accurate technical and commercial quotations.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules to close deals while maintaining healthy margins.
- Coordinate with internal teams (logistics, technical support) to ensure timely delivery and installation.
Market Analysis & Reporting:
- Maintain CRM data (Salesforce, Zoho) to track leads, calls, and project pipelines.
- Provide market feedback on competitor activities, pricing trends, and new product opportunities.
- Submit daily/weekly sales reports to management.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Educational Background: B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Electrical/Electronics Engineering.
- Experience: 2–5 years of sales experience, preferably in industrial electrical, automation, or components (panel board) industry.
Product Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of industrial panel components (Rittal/Hensel/Lapp/MCB/GIC/Salzer/ Hager /Lauritz and knudsen).
Communication: Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
Competencies: Result-driven, self-motivated, and able to work under pressure.
