About the Role

We are seeking a Lead iOS Mobile SDK Engineer to join the Mobile Experience team and advance the next generation of mobile SDK features. These SDKs enable interactive experiences in mobile applications employed by Fortune 500 companies, handling billions of events each week.

This role goes beyond feature development—you will build architectural direction, influence engineering standards, and drive AI-first innovation across teams, while acting as a recognized technical leader. 

What You’ll Do

Architecture, Build & Innovation 

• Own and drive end-to-end system development for core Mobile SDK components, influencing the foundational architecture and long-term technical strategy.
• Lead build and architecture reviews, providing expert mentorship and constructive feedback to improve system quality and scalability.
• Drive AI-first solutions and architectures, incorporating AI/ML capabilities into SDK development to enable intelligent, adaptive mobile experiences.
• Innovate and contribute breakthrough ideas, evaluating and promoting their adoption across products and teams.
• Define and evolve architectural patterns, engineering standards, and guidelines across teams.

Engineering Execution & Programming

• Lead development of complex, high-impact features across the Mobile SDK stack.
• Establish and enforce coding standards, testing strategies, and automation frameworks to improve consistency, scalability, and maintainability.
• Drive AI-enabled development practices, improving engineering efficiency and code quality.
• Own DevOps lifecycle end-to-end: build, development, testing, deployment, and observability.
• Refactor and modernize complex systems to improve long-term reliability and performance.

Leadership & Cross-Team Influence

• Act as a technical leader across business units, influencing product direction, engineering practices, and tooling decisions.
• Lead cross-team technical discussions, synthesizing diverse viewpoints into cohesive solutions.
• Partner with architects, product managers, and engineering leaders to define technical vision and roadmap.
• Influence hiring decisions and help build a high-performing engineering team.

Encouraging Collaboration & Providing Guidance 

• Mentor engineers across levels on architecture, build, and programming excellence.
• Actively contribute by presenting in internal sessions, writing blogs, or participating in external forums. 
• Encourage and guide contributions to technical papers, conferences, or industry discussions.

Ownership & Execution

• Operate as a self-directed leader, handling ambiguous and complex problem spaces.
• Drive initiatives independently while guiding peers and junior engineers.
• Provide clear summaries, insights, and recommendations to leadership on complex technical challenges.

Requirements

• B.Tech / M.Tech in Computer Science (or equivalent) from a premier institute.
• 10+ years of software development experience with strong expertise in iOS platform and mobile SDK development.
• Deep understanding of system build, architectural patterns, and scalable distributed systems.
• Proven experience in leading complex technical initiatives and influencing cross-team architecture.
• Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, and software build principles.
• Experience or strong inclination toward product capabilities powered by artificial intelligence and engineering practices supported by AI.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor, lead, and grow engineering talent.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical ideas clearly.
