Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Support: Handle inbound/outbound calls, emails, and live chat to assist policyholders with policy inquiries, billing questions, and claims status updates. [1, 2]
- Policy Administration: Process new policy applications, endorsements, renewals, and cancellations within the company's CRM and policy management systems. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]
- Claims Processing: Review initial claim forms, verify coverage, enter claims data accurately, and route complex cases to the appropriate internal departments. [1, 2]
- Documentation & Record Keeping: Accurately log all customer interactions, transactions, and corrective actions in the database. [1]
- Compliance: Ensure all processes align with federal and state insurance regulations, data privacy laws (e.g., HIPAA/GDPR), and internal company policies. [1]
- Quality Assurance: Meet or exceed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) regarding response time, first-time resolution, and processing accuracy
