Role Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled Automation/Manual Tester with expertise in Selenium and API/Web testing to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining automated test scripts for both web applications and APIs, ensuring the highest quality of our software products.

Responsibilities:

• Test Automation Development:
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver for web application testing.
• Develop and execute automated test scripts for RESTful APIs using tools like Postman, REST Assured, or similar.
• Create and manage automated test frameworks and tools to support continuous testing.
• Test Planning and Execution:
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand testing requirements and develop comprehensive test plans.
• Execute automated/Manual test cases and analyse results to ensure software quality.
• Identify, document, and track defects, working closely with developers to resolve issues.
• Quality Assurance:
• Conduct functional, regression, and performance testing to validate new features and bug fixes.
• Ensure all software releases meet the highest quality standards by performing thorough testing.
• Documentation:
• Document test cases, test results, and any defects identified during testing.
• Maintain detailed and organized test documentation and reports for reference.

Required Qualifications:

• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in Selenium WebDriver for web application test automation.
• Strong knowledge of API testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Postman, REST Assured, SoapUI) .
• Experience with programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and processes (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD).

• Experience:
• 3+ years of experience in test automation, specifically using Selenium and Python.
• Experience with various types of testing (e.g., functional, regression, performance).
• Soft Skills:
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile development environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with additional automation tools and frameworks.
• Knowledge of BDD/TDD practices and frameworks (e.g., Cucumber, Behave).
• Familiarity with cloud-based testing platforms.
• Experience with API testing and tools (e.g., Postman, REST Assured).

Prerequisites:

Qualification - BE/B Tech

Ideal candidate should have a minimum of 3+ years of experience as a test automation engineer.

Base Location: Noida, but flexible to travel.

Specialization Description

Synthesizes customer contractual needs and requirements into system test solutions that acknowledges technical, schedule and cost constraints. Develops and directs preparation and execution of comprehensive test plans, procedures and schedules for completing systems. Coordinates integrated testing activities. Reviews and evaluates test requirements to insure completeness of test program. Performs technical analysis of complete systems and prepares comprehensive system level evaluations.
