Job Title: Packaging Manager

Location: Palghar (Preference will be given to local candidates)

Salary: ₹20,000 per month (Overtime applicable)

Role Overview: The Packaging Manager will be responsible for managing and supervising all packaging operations on the production floor. The role involves ensuring accuracy in daily production counts, maintaining high standards of packing quality, proper SKU handling, and monitoring workforce productivity. The candidate must be disciplined, detail-oriented, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment with extended working hours when required.

Key Responsibilities :

• Daily Production MonitoringMaintain accurate daily production count after final packing.
• Ensure all production data is recorded and reported without errors.
• Packaging Quality ControlCheck and ensure proper sealing of each SKU.
• Inspect packaging quality at both sealing and strapping levels.
• Ensure all bundles meet required quality standards before dispatch.
• SKU Knowledge and HandlingMaintain complete knowledge of packing specifications for each SKU.
• Ensure correct handling, packing, and identification of all SKUs.
• Outer Packaging SupervisionEnsure outer packaging is properly carried out by workers.
• Monitor adherence to defined packaging processes and standards.
• Workforce Management and Productivity TrackingSupervise packaging staff and assign tasks efficiently.
• Maintain records of individual worker output and productivity.
• Labeling and MarkingEnsure accurate marking of SKU and product details on each bundle.
• Verify correctness of labeling before dispatch.
• Data Accuracy and ReportingProvide accurate and timely production and packaging data.
• Report any discrepancies or operational issues immediately.

Work Timings and Conditions :

• Duty start time: 8:00 AM
• Working hours: 12 hours per day
• Overtime will be provided if work extends beyond regular hours
• Role requires flexibility based on production workload
• Candidate RequirementsMinimum 1–2 years of experience in packaging/production operations (freshers will not be considered)
• Strong attention to detail, especially in packing and labeling
• Ability to manage shop-floor workers and ensure discipline
• Basic record-keeping and reporting skills
• Preference for candidates residing in or near Palghar
