Admission Counsellor

Role Overview

We are seeking a result-driven Senior Academic Counsellor to guide students preparing for NEET, JEE, and other engineering entrance exams. The role requires deep understanding of the admission ecosystem, strong counselling skills, and the ability to convert student inquiries into successful enrolments.

Key Responsibilities

Provide personalized counselling to students and parents for NEET & Engineering pathways

Guide students on college selection, courses, cut-offs, and admission processes (JoSAA, state counselling, private universities)

Handle inbound and outbound leads via calls, WhatsApp, and virtual/in-person meetings

Understand student profiles (rank, percentile, preferences, budget) and recommend best-fit options

Build trust with students/parents and drive conversions from inquiry to admission

Maintain consistent follow-ups and manage the entire admission lifecycle

Stay updated on latest admission trends, fees, placements, and eligibility criteria

Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, operations) for lead management and campaigns

Maintain accurate data and track interactions using CRM systems

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred)

3+ years of experience in education counselling / EdTech / admissions

Strong knowledge of NEET, JEE, JoSAA counselling, and Indian college ecosystem

Excellent communication, objection handling, and persuasion skills

Ability to simplify complex information for students and parents

Target-oriented with a consultative selling approach

Comfortable with CRM tools and data tracking
