Job Description

  • Identify and evaluate potential suppliers based on quality, cost, and reliability.
  • Lead commercial negotiations to secure favorable pricing, payment terms, and service level agreements.
  • Create, process, and track purchase orders (POs) to ensure timely delivery of materials.
  • Monitor stock levels and forecast demand to prevent shortages or overstocking.
  • Review the quality of received products and coordinate with suppliers to resolve discrepancies or defective goods.
  • Maintain accurate procurement records, contracts, and invoices for audit and payment processing.
  • Contact multiple vendors to collect price quotes and prepare comparative statements for approval.
  • Inspect incoming shipments for quality, quantity, and damage against the PO and delivery challan.
