Site Engineer

Key Job Responsibilities

• Site Management & Supervision: Overseeing day-to-day construction activities, including directing labor and subcontractors to ensure progress meets deadlines.
• Technical Implementation: Interpreting structural and architectural drawings, ensuring work complies with design specs, and checking measurements and levels (e.g., using Total Station).
• Quality Control (QC): Inspecting materials upon arrival and conducting regular tests (e.g., concrete slump tests, cube tests, reinforcement checks) to meet standards.
• Safety Enforcement: Enforcing safety protocols, conducting toolbox talks, ensuring the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and maintaining a clean, safe site.
• Resource Coordination: Organizing materials, machinery, and equipment, including planning concrete requirements in advance to avoid work stoppage.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintaining daily site logs, progress reports, material records, and identifying potential delays to report to senior management.
• Problem-Solving: Addressing unforeseen challenges, such as design errors or site constraints, and proposing solutions to keep the project on track.
