Store Executive

Job SummaryThe Store Executive is responsible for managing day-to-day store operations, including material receipt, storage, issue, inventory control, and documentation. The role ensures proper stock management, timely material availability, and accurate record keeping while maintaining safety and housekeeping standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive incoming materials and verify quantity and quality against PO and delivery challan.
• Maintain proper storage and identification of materials.
• Issue materials as per requirement and maintain issue records.
• Update stock records in ERP/system/manual registers.
• Monitor inventory levels and inform management about shortages or excess stock.
• Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconciliation.
• Prepare GRN, inward/outward entries, and stock reports.
• Coordinate with purchase, production, and dispatch departments.
• Ensure FIFO/FEFO system is followed wherever applicable.
• Maintain proper housekeeping and safety standards in the store area.
• Handle material dispatch and packing activities when required.
• Maintain documentation related to stores and inventory.
• Required SkillsKnowledge of inventory management and store operations.
• Basic understanding of ERP/software and MS Excel.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
• Ability to manage stock records efficiently.
• Knowledge of material handling and storage practices.
• Educational QualificationGraduate / Diploma in any discipline.
• Additional certification in Store or Inventory Management will be preferred.
• Experience1–5 years of experience in stores, warehouse, or inventory management.
