​Job Summary

​Shoe Paradise is looking for a dynamic, high-energy, and results-driven Floor Manager to lead our retail floor team. As the Floor Manager, you will be the driving force behind the daily operations of the showroom, ensuring world-class customer service, maximizing sales, and maintaining impeccable visual merchandising standards.

​The ideal candidate has a passion for footwear, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record of motivating a team to hit sales targets in a fast-paced retail environment.

​Key Responsibilities​

1. Team Leadership & Performance Management

• ​Supervise, mentor, and motivate floor staff (sales associates, cashiers, and stock helpers) to meet and exceed daily sales targets.
• ​Conduct daily pre-shift meetings to communicate targets, promotional offers, and focus products.
• ​Assist in scheduling, training, and evaluating team performance to maintain high morale and service standards.

​2. Customer Experience & Sales

• ​Lead by example on the floor, engaging with customers to provide an exceptional shopping experience.
• ​Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and escalations professionally to ensure high satisfaction and repeat business.
• ​Deeply understand product features (material, comfort, fit, and care for different shoe types) and train the team to upsell and cross-sell effectively.

​3. Floor Operations & Visual Merchandising

• ​Ensure the showroom floor is always clean, organized, well-lit, and fully stocked.
• ​Implement and maintain visual merchandising guidelines, ensuring shoe displays, mannequins, and promotional banners are eye-catching and accurate.
• ​Monitor fast-moving and slow-moving shoe articles and coordinate with the stockroom team for timely replenishment.

​4. Inventory & Cash Management

• ​Oversee daily stock counts, minimize shrinkage/damages, and assist in periodic inventory audits.
• ​Supervise the billing counter during peak hours to ensure quick checkout and accurate cash handling.
• ​Report daily sales, footfall trends, and inventory requirements to the Store Manager.

• Experience:
• 2–4 years of experience in retail sales, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or team lead role (experience in the footwear/shoe industry or fashion apparel is highly preferred).
• ​Education:
• High school diploma or equivalent; a Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Retail Management or Business Administration is a plus.
• ​Skills:
• ​Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• ​Solid understanding of retail KPIs (Average Bill Value, Conversion Rate, Upselling).
• ​Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to handle high-pressure situations (like weekend rushes).
• ​Basic computer literacy (MS Excel and Retail POS systems).
• ​Physical Stamina:
• Ability to stand and move around the floor for extended periods.
