Admission Counsellor

An Academic Counselor is responsible for guiding students in making informed educational and career choices. They provide counseling on courses, academic pathways, and institutional offerings while supporting student enrollment and retention.

• Key Responsibilities Counsel students regarding academic programs, career options, and course selection
• Understand student needs and recommend suitable courses or programs
• Handle student inquiries via calls, emails, and in-person meetings
• Assist students through the admission and enrollment process
• Maintain accurate records of student interactions and progress
• Follow up with prospective students to convert leads into enrollments
• Stay updated on course offerings, industry trends, and education policies
• Coordinate with faculty and administrative staff when required
• Organize and participate in seminars, workshops, and education fairs
• Required Skills & QualificationsBachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred in Education, Psychology, or related field)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to understand student needs and provide tailored guidance
• Sales or counseling experience is a plus
• Good organizational and time management skills
• Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools
