Description

• Analyze Data: You will take datasets (whether they are in a database or a standalone file) and find patterns that help us understand our business better.
• Work with Different Sources: You will use Python to explore various data sources. This includes working with Databricks and Spark tables, but you should be able to handle data in whatever format it comes in.
• Find Insights: We want you to look at things like why products are being returned or what customers are saying in reviews, and then give us information that we can use for our future strategy & planning.
• Problem Solve: If the team has a question about a specific trend, you will be the person to dive into the data and find the "why" behind it.
• Automate: You will use Python to make data tasks faster and more automatic. This isn't just for the database, you will also help the team with manual work.

Responsibilities

• Strong Python skills: You should be very comfortable using Python to manipulate, clean, and analyze data.
• Database experience: You know how to work within a database environment like Databricks and understand how to navigate Spark tables.
• Analytical mindset: You don't just "pull data", you look for the meaning behind the numbers and translate it into business value.
• AI & Trend Awareness: You stay up to date with the latest trends in AI and modern data tools to find better, faster ways to solve problems.
• Flexibility: You are okay with jumping between different types of tasks, from cleaning a messy dataset to helping us figure out what to test next on our site.
