Job Summary
FARMKING is hiring an Area Sales Executive – Maharashtra for dealer development, field sales, inquiry generation, quotation follow-up, customer/dealer coordination and market reporting in the assigned Maharashtra territory.
This is a remote field-sales role. The candidate will work in the assigned territory and coordinate with FARMKING’s Jaipur Head Office through phone, WhatsApp, email, Excel / Google Sheet / CRM or any company-approved reporting system.
Key Responsibilities / KRA
- Develop and maintain FARMKING’s dealer network in the assigned Maharashtra territory.
- Identify new dealers, farm-equipment sellers, tractor attachment dealers and rural-market business opportunities.
- Conduct regular field visits, dealer meetings, customer meetings and market surveys.
- Generate inquiries from dealers, farmers, customers, references, market visits and company-assigned leads.
- Promote FARMKING agricultural implements, tractor attachments and farm machinery products.
- Follow up on leads, quotations, pending inquiries, customer/dealer requirements and pending orders.
- Coordinate with Jaipur Head Office / BDE / Pre-Sales team for quotation, order and dispatch updates.
- Maintain dealer data, customer data, inquiry records, quotation follow-up and order status.
- Track competitor products, pricing, dealer feedback, customer objections, demand trends and market opportunities.
- Submit daily visit reports, dealer updates, lead updates, quotation follow-up updates and market feedback.
- Escalate service complaints, technical issues or repeated customer/dealer concerns to the concerned service authority.
Required Skills
- Field sales and dealer-development ability.
- Rural-market and territory-handling understanding.
- Lead generation, inquiry handling and follow-up skills.
- Dealer/customer relationship management.
- Basic negotiation and objection-handling ability.
- Ability to promote agricultural machinery and tractor attachment products.
- Good Hindi communication.
- Marathi communication preferred.
- Basic English reporting ability preferred.
- Ability to use WhatsApp, phone calls, Excel / Google Sheet / CRM or company-approved reporting tools.
- Regular field travel readiness.
- Basic competitor and market-feedback collection ability.
- Driving licence / own two-wheeler preferred.
Candidate Profile
- Graduate in any discipline preferred.
- 1 to 5+ years of field-sales experience.
- Candidates from agricultural implements, tractor attachments, farm equipment, tractor dealership, rural dealer sales, agri-machinery distribution or machinery sales will be preferred.
- Candidate should be disciplined, target-oriented, field-ready and comfortable working remotely from the assigned Maharashtra territory.
Compensation and Benefits
Monthly CTC: ₹18,000 – ₹35,000
Annual CTC: ₹2,16,000 – ₹4,20,000
Incentives, travel allowance, reimbursements, PF, ESI and other benefits shall apply as per company policy, eligibility and applicable law.
