Job Description

  • Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and cook basic dishes such as sandwiches, burgers, eggs, and simple sandwich items.
  • Assist in daily mise-en-place: chopping, prepping ingredients, stocking the workstation.
  • Follow standard recipes and portion sizes to maintain taste and consistency.
  • Plate dishes neatly and ensure proper presentation before serving.
  • Maintain hygiene standards as per FSSAI guidelines.
  • Keep the kitchen clean, sanitized, and organized at all times.
  • Manage basic inventory: inform supervisor when ingredients are running low.
  • Support senior chefs during rush hours.
  • Safely operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, fryers, mixers, and grills.
  • Follow all safety rules, temperature controls, and food storage procedures.
  • Skills & RequirementsBasic cooking skills; ability to handle simple dishes competently.
  • Familiarity with kitchen tools and basic equipment.
  • Good communication and teamwork.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Prior experience in a café, bakery, or small kitchen is an advantage but not necessary.
