Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves leading the design, development, and configuration of specialized software applications. The position demands proactive problem-solving and continuous engagement with the team to drive the successful delivery of software products tailored to specific business needs.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements for application development.
- Ensure the quality and performance of software solutions through rigorous testing and validation.
- Document technical specifications and maintain clear communication with project stakeholders.
- Support junior team members by sharing knowledge and assisting in their professional growth.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP for Utilities Energy Data Management Device Management.
- Experience in configuring and customizing SAP modules related to utilities and energy sectors.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex software issues.
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
- Ability to work with integration tools and manage data flows between systems.
- Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical team members.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in SAP for Utilities Energy Data Management Device Management.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
