Kitchen Helper

Job Summary:

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Cafe Kitchen Helper to support our kitchen operations. The role involves assisting with basic food preparation, maintaining cleanliness, and helping with service when required. Candidates can specialize in one or more areas based on their skills and availability—performing all tasks is not mandatory.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in basic food preparation such as cutting vegetables, prepping ingredients, and organizing supplies
• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, utensils, and work areas
• Support dishwashing and general cleaning duties
• Assist in serving food and beverages when needed
• Ensure hygiene and food safety standards are followed
• Help kitchen staff with daily operational tasks as required

Requirements:

• Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment
• Basic understanding of kitchen hygiene (preferred but not mandatory)
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
• Prior experience is a plus, but not required

Flexibility:

This role is flexible—candidates may be assigned tasks based on their strengths (cleaning, cutting, or service), and are not required to perform all responsibilities.
