Summary:
As a Large Language Model Developer, a typical day involves refining and adapting advanced language models to better suit specific domains and user instructions. This role requires continuous engagement with evolving model architectures and datasets to improve the model's contextual understanding and output quality. The workday includes iterative testing, analyzing model behavior, and collaborating with various teams to ensure the models meet the desired performance standards and relevance for targeted applications. The role demands a proactive approach to problem-solving and innovation in the field of language model development.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the development and fine-tuning of language models to meet project goals and client requirements.
- Mentor junior team members by providing guidance and support in technical challenges and project execution.
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts to align model development with broader organizational objectives.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Large Language Models (LLMs), Java and Python.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with Machine Learning (ML).
- Experience in AI application development, focusing on cloud-based AI model integration, deployment, and optimization.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, and experience with AI/ML frameworks like Spring AI, LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, Agno, Pydantic, TensorFlow etc.
- Hands-on experience with Azure Cloud Services for AI, including Azure OpenAI and Azure AI Search for developing and deploying AI applications at scale.
- Proficiency in advanced AI architecture patterns, including Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), Agentic RAG, MCP, Functional Calling, A2A especially in an Azure environment.
- Experience in prompt engineering, context engineering, vector databases, embedding/chunking strategies, and real-time data integration.
- Experience in evaluating model output and optimization
- Strong understanding of natural language processing techniques and model fine-tuning strategies.
- Experience with data preprocessing and domain adaptation methods to enhance model performance.
- Ability to analyze model outputs critically and implement improvements based on feedback and evaluation metrics.
- Familiarity with programming languages and frameworks commonly used in language model development.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Large Language Models (LLMs).
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
