We are seeking a talented individual to join our CIS team at Marsh. This role will be based in Pune/Mumbai. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

Reporting into the Data Operations Lead within CIS, you will support the Data Governance function of Marsh in controlling master and reference data to satisfy business objectives.

We will count on you to:

• Assist with the creation and maintenance of metadata for Marsh transactional and reporting systems, ensuring data governance standards are upheld and reporting impact of changes is communicated to stakeholders.
• Ensure complete review of data for accuracy and consistency, prepare analytics regarding data quality and collaborate closely with many groups within Marsh.
• Create and maintain existing documentation to strengthen controls within Data Governance and our processes.
• Liaise with stakeholders as a SME on data management processes.
• Oversee project deliverables for the Data Management team.

What you need to have:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks to meet Month End Close, operational needs and project deadlines.
• Excellent analytical skills to understand the data relationships and the impact of master and reference data changes across system environments as well as attention to detail when entering
• A can do attitude with the desire to learn
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications is required particularly Excel
