Summary:
In the role of Packaged or Software as a Service Application Engineering Lead, a typical day involves taking ownership of the design and continuous improvement of packaged or Software as a Service solutions. This includes managing the configuration, integration, and release processes to ensure seamless delivery. The role requires setting and maintaining platform standards that guarantee system stability and optimal performance while aligning with both business objectives and vendor requirements. Collaboration across various teams and proactive oversight of solution evolution are key aspects of daily activities, ensuring that the platform adapts effectively to changing needs and technological advancements.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the development and implementation of best practices to enhance platform reliability and efficiency.
- Facilitate communication and coordination between cross-functional teams to drive project success.
- Mentor and support junior team members to foster professional growth and skill development.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Apigee.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with Google Cloud Platform.
- Strong knowledge of API management and integration techniques.
- Experience in designing scalable and secure cloud-based solutions.
- Ability to troubleshoot and optimize platform performance.
- Familiarity with release management and deployment automation.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Apigee.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
