Production Manager – Modular Furniture (2+ Years Experience)

Job Summary

We are looking for a proactive and results-driven Production Manager with a minimum of 2 years of experience in modular furniture manufacturing. The ideal candidate will oversee daily production operations, ensure efficient utilization of resources, maintain quality standards, and coordinate with design, procurement, and installation teams to deliver projects on time.

• Key Responsibilities
• Plan, organize, and supervise daily production activities for modular furniture manufacturing.
• Ensure production targets are achieved while maintaining quality and safety standards.
• Coordinate with design, sales, procurement, and installation teams for seamless project execution.
• Monitor production schedules and optimize manpower, machinery, and material utilization.
• Manage workshop operations, including cutting, assembly, finishing, and packaging processes.
• Implement quality control measures to ensure products meet design specifications and customer expectations.
• Track inventory levels of raw materials and coordinate procurement requirements.
• Identify and resolve production bottlenecks to improve productivity and efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety policies and manufacturing best practices.
• Prepare production reports, monitor KPIs, and provide regular updates to management.
• Train and supervise production staff to enhance performance and operational efficiency.
• Minimize material wastage and control production costs.
• Required Qualifications
• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Production, Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, Furniture Design, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in production management, preferably in modular furniture, woodworking, or interior fit-out manufacturing.
• Knowledge of modular furniture production processes, materials, hardware, and manufacturing techniques.
• Understanding of production planning, inventory management, and quality control systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and production specifications.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and team management skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and production tracking tools.
• Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with CNC machines, edge banding machines, panel saws, and woodworking equipment.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and process improvement initiatives.
• Experience in handling custom furniture and interior fit-out projects.
