Project Role Description : Leads a team of quality engineers through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Applies business and functional knowledge to develop end-to-end testing strategies through the use of quality processes and methodologies. Applies testing methodologies, principles and processes to define and implement key metrics to manage and assess the testing process including test execution and defect resolution.

Summary:
As a Quality Engineering Lead, you will lead a team of quality engineers, guiding them through the complexities of multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration. Your typical day will involve collaborating with various stakeholders to accelerate delivery and enhance quality across the application lifecycle. You will utilize your business and functional knowledge to craft comprehensive testing strategies, ensuring that quality processes and methodologies are effectively applied. By defining and implementing key metrics, you will manage and assess the testing process, focusing on test execution and defect resolution to drive continuous improvement.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME.
- Collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Mentor junior team members to enhance their skills and knowledge in quality engineering.
- Continuously evaluate and improve testing processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Selenium, Java, Cucumber (Software).
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with automated testing frameworks and tools.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle and testing methodologies.
- Experience in performance testing and security testing.
- Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment practices.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Selenium.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
