In this job the Quotation Engineer would be responsible for:

Key Tasks and responsibilities:

• Support and interact with our global sales companies network by understanding Customer needs and translate them to deliver the smartest quotations.
• Prepare quotations for Welded Plate Heat Exchangers (Compabloc - CP) Spiral Heat Exchangers (SHE) / Printed Circuit Heat Exchangers (PCHE) by configurating and identifying optimum costing and pricing with proprietary tools.
• Review customers’ specifications and have explicit understanding of the requirement preparing a clear Deviation & Clarification list that fits and brings value to Customer.
• Attend Bid Clarification meetings, remotely through Teams, with Customers and our Field Sales, when required, to align Customer expectations and update offering accordingly.
• Consult, as needed, with internal departments (Purchasing, R&D, Sales, Manufacturing, Planning, Logistics) to identify project deadlines and guarantee quality offers.
• Proactive risk assessment by participating to Project Sales Plan (PSP) review, when required. Review of customer specification understanding and coordinating with Operations potential risks happening during execution phase, aiming to eliminate or mitigate them in bid stage.
• Adherence to Quality Management System (QMS)
• Contribute in identifying areas for improvement to increase sales efficiency and competitiveness

Who you are?

As a person, you are customer oriented, an international team player, proactive with a willingness to learn & collaborate with associated stakeholders. You are structured in your approach & comfortable with working on multiple overlapping assignments. You have a discerning eye for the details as well as able to have a holistic view of the situation.

Your background

• Chemical/ Mechanical Engineer having at least 5 years of experience in the field of technical quotation, inside or outside sales engineer, preferably within one the following industry: Oil & Gas, Chemical, Power, Metal and Pulp & Paper industries
• Knowledge of heat exchanger thermal design & sizing would be an advantage.
• Knowledge of costing fundamentals.
• Knowledge of relevant Standards & Codes would be an advantage
• Ability of working individually and independently as well as in team
• Good skills with MS Office package
• Collaborative, solution-oriented approach with strong oral and written communication skills
• Fluent in English
• Business understanding and strong cost-consciousness.
